Back in June I wrote a satire about the Carrie Prejean drama entitled “Prejean Boobs Repossessed”.
The satire revolved around the Miss California USA Pageant hypothetically demanding Ms. Prejean either return the money they spent on her enhancements or the boobs themselves.
As with all satire some found it funny and some did not. Many wanted to look through my intent to poke fun at the cat fighting between Ms. Prejean and the pageant organizers. They wanted to make it about the politics of marriage woman’s rights, freedom of religion etc etc. In reality, it was just about Boobs.
As it turns out, 4 months later, the pageant organizers agree with me! The production company that runs the pageant is filing a cross complaint against Prejean, demanding, among other things, that Carrie return the $5,200 the pageant fronted her for her boob job.
While they have not asked for the boobs back in the alternative I expect a repossession action to be instituted shortly. Ms. Prejean will have to cough up or “pull out”. I am just kidding on the latter of course. Is it just about money and saving face or is it…”just about boobs”?
Moral of story? People should not be so quick to dismiss my “boobular” instincts.

Great Satire. I was not aware of that fact that local pageants paid for cosmetic surgery. One more reason to not to watch them.

Great. First thing in the morning at work and now all I want to do is stare at boobs.
How am I supposed to concentrate on paperwork now?

Female perspective: Okay, it’s funny. Yes, Carrie Prejean is annoying beyond belief. Yes, I’d love to see her have to remove “the girls” and give them back on a silver platter.
However, unless you’re wearing a pair of your own (Halloween costumes and moobs don’t count), get over it! In the alternative, could we discuss it next month? Having that particularly cross-complaint filed in Breast Cancer Awareness Month is just….well….tacky.

Those pageants have gone beyond low with that kind of gimmicks. It does not celebrate beauty at all anymore. It’s more of look like how we want you to look. Do they survey it, compare among the winners of the previous years? way low.
