No one cares what race or skin color a criminal has. The police are nothing more than the clean up crew after the fact. These criminals took the chance of getting shot when and this time it didn't pay off. Too bad! I'd like to see more of these hooligans dead and gone. I think Joe Horn needs a medal for his valiant service to the community in protecting his neighborhood. He called the police and found out first hand how useless they are in these situations. The officer that was waiting in his care for BACKUP was clearly afraid his life might be in danger if he confronted these two alone. The police cannot be everywhere and spend 99% of their time filling out reports AFTER the crime. The right to own property includes the right to prevent someone from stealing it. Waiting 10 minutes for the cops to arrive while the thief gets away only encourages more thieves. They make the decision: is that stereo worth my life? Their decision, not mine.
