He didn't name Ms. Lapine by name. The next thing you know, courts will be putting muzzles on people and tell them to bark on the count of three. I think Seinfeld's attorney is correct in this case being frivolous. I also believe Ms. Lapine has sour grapes because her book didn't get published, and Mrs. Seinfeld's book did. What do they do next? Sue the Seinfeld's producer on what charge? Lousy writing? Look at it from this point of view. Who has more money in the bank? The reason I ask the question that way is, who stands to gain more by going to court? I hope one of these days, frivolous lawsuits carry some sort of punitive damages to prevent people who sit at home and think they can write a book and get rich on behalf of celebrities, and stop clogging up the court system. I heard today a man was suing his church because he passed out while praying at the alter....come on folks, get real here.
