First off, do some research and ask the hard questions before having someone like this on the program. Second, her discussion of Marinol is total bullshit. She claims "freak" scientists are the ones talking about using pot and that there are no studies showing the efficacy of pot. Well, the next question you should have asked is "why aren't there any studies?" Answer: Because the US government is a hypocrite and won't allow studies of the drug, yet they still allows drug companies to manufacture Marinol and charge ridiculous prices for it.

By the way, Marinol makes people sick and paranoid because it overloads them with THC. It's like eating multiple joints with high concentrations of THC. With smoke or vapor, you can regulate intake and you're able to only take as much as you need to get relief. Of course, inhaling it is bad from the doctor's perspective. She would rather prescribe you some codeine or other addictive pain med. Good choice Doc!

The doctor is clearly not open to any change in the drug laws or having studies on pot because they would contradict the lies the government has told for years and years about the dangers.

I'll tell you from experience, it works for sick people. My wife had the swine flu a couple weeks ago and tried the prescribed meds for nausea. They didn't work because she kept throwing them up. Instead, we had her vaporize some herb and inhale. And what do you know?? She was able to take her other pills and didn't throw up for hours. She was even able to consume food.

From the doctor's perspective...I'm sure it was something else which helped.

Lots of people dying because of the drugs, but not from marijuana. In my opinion, marijuana should be legal. Making a difference between marijuana and illegal stuff would be great, since ganja is everywhere, like it's legal and people know it's illegal...
